Last Night the Lakeland Cardinals held it's annual General Election, and here are the results:
FOR PRESIDENT:
George Coalson with 42 % of the vote
Michael Lojdl with 54 % of the vote
FOR TREASURER:
Phil Lockhart with 57 % of the vote
Tina Lumber with 38 % of the vote
So with that Michael Lojdl was elected to serve his second term as President, and Phil Lockhart was elected to become the new Executive Treasurer. Both terms are scheduled to begin in January of 2009
We would also like to thank both George Coalson and Tina Lumber for running such a close race, and we hope both will continue to get involved in other ways with the organization.
Last I would like to say a special thank you to our outgoing Treasurer Ms. Tina Lumber who has dedicated a lot of time and energy to helping this organization get more fiscally responsible and to develop a budget for the future, as well as being a key member of this board for the last two years, which will greatly help this organization to grow and get better. The fruits of your labors Tina may not yet be seen, but we are grateful for all of your hard work and dedication to the Lakeland Cardinals organization.
