Sorry for the short notice but Mike Lojdl just contacted me tonight and asked that I inform everyone that we will be holding an Emergency Board meeting on Monday night at 7:00 PM
The location of this meeting is unfortunately not yet 100% but Mike is trying for the Township meeting room, or the Fox Lake Community Center. For lack of a better answer please plan on attending this meeting at the Grant Township offices unless I send out a change during the day on Monday. So please check your email again during the day.
This meeting will be to discuss our situation relative to JFLNI and the possibility of a change in our League that we participate in. A new proposal is on the table that could involve the merger of the JFLNI and North West Youth Football League (NWYFL) This would create a new league with the remaining six teams in the JFLNI and five teams in the NWYFL making our new league 11 teams in all. The founding members of the NWYFL are the Franchises of Arlington Heights, Elk Grove Village, Mount Prospect, Palatine and Schaumburg. For more on this league go to www.nwyfl.org
This is a unique opportunity that we need to discuss on Monday as the JFLNI has called an Emergency Board meeting for Tuesday to discuss this as well and we must make a decision for our organization position on this issue before that.
If you have any questions please let me know, but also please share this meeting notice with any and all members of our organization as you can so that we can have the best possible turn out to discuss this situation on Monday.
